SECURE IN JESUS

SECURE IN JESUS

“The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the strength of my life;  Of whom shall I be afraid? ...
Though an army may encamp against me, My heart shall not fear;
Though war should rise against me,  in this I will be confident.
One thing I have desired of the Lord,  that will I seek:
That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life,
To behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in His temple."
Psalm 27:1-4

"Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."  Joshua 1:9

"Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God,  He is the One who goes with you.  He will not leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6

"Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid;
For Yah, the Lord, is my strength and song;
He also has become my salvation.’ ”  Isaiah 12:2

"I have set the Lord always before me;
Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved.
Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices;
My flesh also will rest in hope." Psalm 16:8-9

"Then Moses called Joshua and said to him in the sight of all Israel, 'Be strong and of good courage, for you must go with this people to the land which the Lord has sworn to their fathers to give them, and you shall cause them to inherit it. And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.'”  Deuteronomy 31:7-8

“Thou art my hiding place;  Thou shalt preserve me from trouble;
Thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance.”  Psalm 32:7

"Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, 'I will never leave you nor forsake you.'  So we may boldly say: 'The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?'” Hebrews 13:5-6

"...in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."  Romans 8:37-39

“He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him.  He came to His  own, and His  own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” John 1:10-12

“Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by your name; You are Mine.
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you.
When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned,
Nor shall the flame scorch you.
For I am the Lord your God,
The Holy One of Israel, your Savior."   Isaiah 43:1-3

"In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

"I was so foolish and ignorant; I was like a beast before You.
Nevertheless I am continually with You; You hold me by my right hand.
You will guide me with Your counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.
Whom have I in heaven but You?
And there is none upon earth that I desire besides You.
My flesh and my heart fail;
But God is the  strength of my heart and my  portion forever." Psalm 73:22-26

“The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
He leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul:
He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil: for Thou art with me;
Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies:
 Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life: and I will dwell
in the house of the LORD for ever."  Psalm 23

“My soul, wait silently for God alone, for my expectation is from Him.
He only is my rock and my salvation;
He is my defense;  I shall not be moved.
In God is my salvation and my glory;
The rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.
Trust in Him at all times, you people;
Pour out your heart before Him;
God is a refuge for us." Psalm 62:5-8

“If then you were raised with Christ [believers share in His redemptive death and resurrection], seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory." Colossians 3:1-4

"Thou art my hiding place;  Thou shalt preserve me from trouble;
Thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance.”  Psalm 32:7
